Rohan's Vision

Rohan’s vision for the museum, in his own words: My grandfather wanted me to do something in cricket. I excelled in age group cricket, then I went to England and played club cricket for four years before joining our family business.I think, with this museum, I have kept my grandfather’s dream alive.
Having come up with one of its kind museum that showcases some of the most exclusive stuff in the cricketing world, its owner and creator believes that it’s just a start and there is quite some way to go.
I am a huge fan of Test cricket, and I am a strong believer that Test cricket is the real cricket. That is the reason why you would see most of the items in this museum related to achievements of Test cricketers. Having said that, I am not against any format. Twenty20 has given cricketers a lot of money, and that is a good thing. But, I feel, Test cricket is dying, and there are not many spectators to watch the longer version of the game these days.
In my own small way, I am trying to keep Test cricket alive. If there are a few budding players who get inspired to play Test cricket by looking at the collection at this museum, I would feel I have achieved what I wanted to. Earning back the money that I spent while collecting this memorabilia is not on my agenda, not at all.Whatever finances are generated from this museum, I would like to put that money back into the game. I would like to provide budding players with equipment, top-class training facilities, or anything else that would help them become better cricketers.
And, as I said, this museum is going to be at least 10 times bigger and better than what it is right now. That’s a promise. In our own small way, we will try to keep Test cricket alive. If there are a few budding players who get inspiredto play test cricket by looking at the collection at this museum, we would feel that we have achieved something worthwhile.
Whatever finances are generated from this museumm we will put that money back into the game. We have launched various initiatives like providing cricket kits to underpreviledged talented children.
We will strive to inspire young cricket lovers to develop positive character traits that will lead to better understanding amoungst not only the society that they live in but also amoung diverse cultures and countries.
We will be collecting, preservatingm cataloguing and providing a place for exhibition of cricketing memorabilia
We will engage schools through our initiative Prerana which will help inspire and educate young children.Read More about PRERANA-special initative
We will provide budding players with equipment, top-class training facility or anything else that would help them become legends of tomorrow.
We will strive to preserve and impart the inspiring stories of legendary cricketers to the current and next generations.
Cricket as we all know is an extremely powerful unifying force cutting across social, economical, cultural and religious divides. We would play the role of a catalyst bridging the gap between countries & cultures which will honour and strengthen the game.
